The actual development of the project can then be continuously compared with the assumptions made so that any deviations from the expected business case can be detected. In practice, however, these calculations are seldom made. This White Paper describes the requirements for a comprehensive profitability calculation in IT outsourcing projects. A cost model is presented which is becomes basis for further analysis, especially for assessing the relevance of each of the main factors.
